Realme GT Master Explorer Edition Will Not Be Launched In India: CEO

Realme has confirmed that their latest groundbreaking flagship, the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition will not be launched in India. Realme has some big surprises lined up for us in the coming weeks but a few have seen setbacks. The Realme GT Neo 2 should be launched in India very soon but the launch date of the device has not been revealed yet.

Realme’s CEO, Madhav Sheth hosts a series named AskMadhav. Madhav is the CEO of Realme India, Europe, and Latin America. Madhav in the latest episode of AskMadhav confirmed that the brand has no intentions of launching the Realme GT Master Explorer Editon in India. People speculate it is because of the high price that will not suit the Indian market.

People also believe that it will ruin Realme’s speciality in affordable devices loaded with features. Last month, Realme GT Neo 2 was confirmed to launch in India and its launch date will now be revealed very soon the brand says. Madhav Sheth also mentions that the company will detail some new information regarding the launch of the smartphone in the highly anticipated upcoming episode of his series, AskMadhav. AskMadhav is a great initiative with the brand since it gives us insights on what the brand has in store for us and what we can expect!

Some other interesting bits of this interview include:

  1. Realme has no intent to launch a 5G version of the Realme Pad soon.
  2. A green colour option will be avaiable for both, the upcoming Realme GT Neo 2 and the Realme Buds Air 2
  3.  Realme X series will continue to get two years of security patches and updates
  4. Realme 9 series is still going to launch in 2022 and Realme is refining the phone as much as possible.

It will be interesting to see what they launch in India and what they do not, but rest assured, Realme has some big announcements to make in the near future!
