Realme GT 5G India Launch Imminent As It Gets Listed on Realme India Website With Coming Soon Tag

Realme GT 5G could launch in India soon.

Realme launched the Realme GT 5G smartphone in China in March, after some time Realme announced an affordable smartphone from the Realme GT series – Realme GT Neo which will Launch as Realme X7 Max in India on the 31st May. The Realme GT has been listed on the Realme India website ahead of the Realme X7 Max launch with a coming soon tag suggesting an imminent launch. Now, let’s take a look at what the Realme GT 5G has to offer.

Realme GT 5G is priced at CNY 2,799 (approx Rs. 31,400) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage variant, and CNY 3,299 (approx Rs. 37,000) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage variant in China. The smartphone comes in three colors – Blue and Silver colors, and a Vegan Lether edition. You can buy the smartphone right now in China but there isn’t any news regarding the India launch but we can expect the launch at Realme 5G summit which will be held on 10th June. The Realme GT features a 6.43-inch FHD+ sAMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cut out on the top left for the selfie camera which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G SoC which is an octa-core chipset built on a 5nm fabrication process paired with Adreno 660 GPU, up to 12GB of fast LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. As for the software the smartphone runs on Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 skin on top with a special GT mode which enhances the smartphone performance.

Coming to the cameras, the smartphone houses a triple-camera setup on the rear with a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 primary sensor paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens. On the front, it houses a 16-megapixel snapper for selfies and video chats. The smartphone is fueled by a 4,500mAh battery with fast charging support of up to 65W. As for security, the device houses an in-display fingerprint sensor. As for the connectivity, the smartphone features 5G Dual-mode, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack with support of HiRes audio and it is also Dolby Atmos-certified for immersive sound experience and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. The smartphone weighs 186g and its’ 8.4mm thick.
