Realme GT 2 Pro official images are out, and they are different from the initially leaked renders. Naoto Fukusawa designs the device, and the company claims, “The Realme GT 2 Pro is the world’s first smartphone to feature a bio-based polymer design.”
As mentioned earlier, totally different design, but the dual 50MP camera leak is accurate. As you can see in the images below, the device will feature a triple camera setup with a pair of LED Flash Lights. The text on the camera island reads, “DUAL 50MP MATRIX OS CAMERA.”
Other hardware specifications of the device are a 6.8-inch OLED WQHD+ panel with a resolution of 2960×1440 pixels with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will feature up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It will also come with fast charging, IP rating, and all other features expected of a flagship device.
The device’s back panel is made out of a bio-based polymer, which can be a good thing for the environment if implemented the right way, or it can also be a marketing gimmick. Why do I say that? Well, have a look.
Realme GT 2 Pro is also expected to be priced around USD 800-900 as it is a flagship device with all top-of-the-line specifications. It might also be the most expensive mainstream Realme device to launch.
The device will launch on 4 January 2022, and we are excited about what Realme has to offer.
