Realme kicked off this year by releasing its most-awaited GT 2 series phones. But, it was only launched in China at that time, and finally, the Relame GT 2 Pro has arrived in India as the company’s most feature-packed flagship phone. It is powered by Qualcomm’s most powerful chipset and features a 50MP triple camera setup on the back.
Remember Japanese industrial designer Naoto Fukusawa who designed the Realme GT Master Edition? The same person has also been given the task of designing the Realme GT 2 Pro that feels like paper. It is the first smartphone of such a kind. “Every million GT 2 Pros made with the Paper Tech Master Design is the equivalent of 3.5 million fewer plastic bottles being produced.”, says Realme.
Realme GT 2 Pro price in India, offers, and sale date
Realme GT 2 Pro starts at Rs 49,999 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone also comes in a 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option for Rs 57,999. It will go on sale starting April 14 via realme.com and Flipkart. The smartphone will be available in in three colour options: Paper White, Paper Green, and Steel Black.
Realme GT 2 Pro buyers will get Realme Watch S for free. The launch offer also include a flat discount of Rs 5,000, when purchased using a SBI card.

Realme’s 2022 flagship phone packs a 6.7-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED screen with Quad HD+ resolution, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and 1000Hz touch sampling rate. It’s in fact the world’s first phone to have a 2K AMOLED flat display with LTPO technology. The panel supports HDR10+, 10-bit colours, and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. It is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus with up to 2 meters of drop protection.
Performance
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor fuels the device, which is a 4nm octa-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 3GHz. The chipset is paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Realme GT 2 Pro ships with Realme UI 3.0 skin, based on Android 12.
The device has a Stainless Steel Vapour Cooling System which is more than 2x bigger than the previous generation. It is claimed to reduce the core temperature areas by up to 19-degree Celcius.
Cameras
In terms of optics, the Realme phone has triple rear cameras that include a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide camera with a 150-degree field of view, and a 3MP micro-lens with up to 40x magnification. On the front, there’s a 32MP Sony IMX615 selfie camera. The rear camera setup is capable of recording up to 8k videos, while the front camera can record up to 1080p videos at 30fps.
Battery and Connectivity
Realme GT 2 Pro is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 65W SuperDart Charging. The device comes with connectivity features like dual 5G sim support, 4G, Bluetooth v5.2, Wi-Fi 2.4/5GHz, GPS, USB Type-C port, and NFC. It has dual speakers audio system with Dolby Atomos and Hi-res audio certification. The handset weighs 189g and has a thickness of just 8.18mm.
