Realme GT 2 Pro Officially Confirmed and Renders Leaked

The phone is expected to launch in the Q1 of 2022.

By now, all of us are aware of realme, and the realme GT 2 Pro will be the successor of realme GT Explorer Master Edition. That’s a big name, and the realme GT 2 Pro not only sounds better but, indeed, is better. Let’s have a look at the leaked renders of the device and its expected specifications.

Tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer aka OnLeaks, in collaboration with 91Mobiles, leaked the renders of the device, and the design of the device is nostalgic but also refreshing. And that is how the current market is, refreshing the designs from many years ago, in a more refined form. The company also confirmed the Realme GT 2 Pro saying,

“This addition to Realme’s GT series marks the starting point for the brand’s journey into the high-end global market and is another step towards pursuing leading innovations in the industry.”

The Design language is polarising, and some might like it, some might hate it. It resembles the likes of Google Nexus 6P and, during current times, probably a little like the Google Pixel 6 series. And the device indeed looks premium.

While we do not have much information about the device, the camera bump (or the camera hill) is 3 sensors and a dual flash setup. One crucial element we can’t miss from the render is the text on the camera bump that reads, “DUAL 50MP GR LENS.”

What is a GR lens? According to Ricoh Imaging Company, the creator of GR Camera’s, GR lens is “A lens construction that reduces ghosting, and multi-coating on all surfaces, this lens possesses excellent resistance against backlighting.”

So, from what we gather, two 50MP sensors at the back with an 8MP telephoto lens. Also, the power button to the right side. The realme GT 2 Pro is a flagship and based on that, the phone’s back will either be glass or ceramic. Also, flat metal sides. The phone does look appealing, at least to me. Let us know what do you think about the design of the device.

Realme GT 2 Pro is also expected to launch with Snapdragon 8Gx Gen 1 SoC. Also, the display of this device is 6.8-inch OLED WQHD+ with a resolution of 2960×1440 pixels. It is a 2K panel and also has a 120Hz refresh rate. If it comes with all the bells and whistles, the RAM and memory cant be left out. And so, the device will feature up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Realme GT 2 Pro is also expected to be priced around USD 800-900 as it is a flagship device with all top-of-the-line specifications. It might also be the most expensive mainstream realme device to launch.

Those are not even all the specifications of the device, and it’s already a feature-packed device. Let us know if the design appeals to you and what do you think about the device overall?
