Realme GT 2 Global Variant (RMX3311) Appears on Geekbench, Hinting at an Imminent Global Launch

Realme GT 2 series went official last month in China. But, the company didn’t announce any plans for the global launch. However, the global variants have constantly been popping up on the various certification sites, hinting that the device could launch soon outside China. And today, the global variant of Realme GT 2 with model number RMX3311 has appeared on the benchmarking site Geekbench, revealing key specifications.

Realme GT 2 global model has been spotted on the benchmarking site with model number RMX3311. As per the listing, the device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm chipset, which runs at a base speed of 1.80GHz. It has 1 + 3 + 4 core configuration.

When tested on Geekbench v5, the device has managed to pull off 1127 points and 3355 points in the single-core and multi-core tests on the benchmarking platform. The listing does not reveal the chipset name. However, it hints that the Snapdragon 888 SoC could power the Realme GT 2 global variant. The same has been used in the Chinese variant.

The smartphone will boot Android 12 out of the box, with Realme UI 3.0 custom skin layer at the top. The Chinese variant of the Realme GT 2 has a 6.62-inch FullHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 1300nits peak brightness. The device features a triple camera setup on the back, consisting of a 50MP primary camera, a 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, it has a 16MP snapper inside the punch-hole cutout. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.

While the company has not announced a global launch date yet, Madhav Seth, Realme’s VP, has been teasing the global launch of the Pro model. Hopefully, the company will announce a global launch date in the coming weeks or at the upcoming MWC event.
