Realme has announced the launch date of Realme C21Y for the Indian market. In a recent tweet posted today, the company announced that Realme C21Y will launch in India on August 23. The smartphone was launched in Vietnam last month. It will be a slight upgrade over the existing Realme C21 which was launched in April this year. 

dedicated launch page for the Realme C21Y has already gone live on the Realme India website. Since the device has already been launched in Vietnam, we already know the specifications. There is no word on pricing from the company. However, the Realme C21Y should be priced under Rs 15,000 as it was launched in Vietnam for 3,490,000 Vietnamese dongs (roughly Rs 11,400).

The device offers a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with 720×1,600 HD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and a peak brightness of 400nits. Realme C21Y features a waterdrop notch to house the 5MP selfie shooter. Around the back, it boasts a triple-camera setup which includes a 13MP primary camera, a 2MP macro shooter, and a 2MP monochrome lens.

Realme C21Y is fueled by an octa-core Unisoc T610 processor. The phone comes in two memory configurations – 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. It has a dedicated microSD slot for storage expansion. Realme C21Y packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports reverse wired charging. There is a rear-side fingerprint scanner for additional security. Connectivity features include – 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
