Realme held a launch event yesterday in Pakistan where the Realme 8 series was launched by the Chinese group. Aside from that, there were a few other things on display, such as Realme gaming accessories and Buds Q2.
The Realme Buds Q2 is the successor to the Realme Buds Q, which was released earlier this year. These TWS are on a budget, but they still have some cool features. The Realme Buds Q was released last year for those who are unfamiliar.
They were regarded as one of the most attractive budget TWS on the market. In addition, the sound quality was excellent. Is Buds Q2 a worthy successor to its predecessor? Here’s everything you need to know about the Realme Buds Q2.
The Realme Buds Q2 Connectivity & Battery
Bluetooth 5.0 is supported, and the buds have IPX4 dust and waterproof ranking, so they won’t be damaged by light rain, a few drops of water, or sweat when worn during a workout.
The Buds Q2 don’t have active noise cancellation (ANC), but they do have Environmental Noise Cancellation, which the company says would improve call quality.
The charging case for the Realme Buds Q2 claims to have up to 20 hours of playback time. On a single charge, the individual buds are said to provide 5 hours of playback. This time, we get fast charging support for the case and the buds, which can last up to 120 minutes with a simple 10-minute charge.
The Realme Buds Q2 Design & Build
According to RealmeTimes, the Realme Buds Q2 is ultra-lightweight, weighing just 4.1g. A 10mm bass boost driver with sound enhancements, dubbed Bass Boost+ by the company, sits beneath.
The touch-sensitive area of the earbuds is coated with a Kaleidoscope Lamination process, which gives it a patterned feel. Apart from that, if you’ve seen the first generation Realme Buds, the Buds Q2 is pretty much the same.
Talking of color options given by Realme, the earbuds come in two colors: black and blue.
The Realme Buds Q2 Pricing & Availability
Finally, the Realme Buds Q2 is currently available for purchase on Realme Pakistan’s website for Pakistani Rupees 3,999 (roughly $26/INR 1,900). The initial price is Pakistan Rupees 5999 (approximately $38/INR 2,900).
So the question you might be thinking is: Will they come to India? Well, we do expect these to land in India pretty soon, however thanks to the ongoing COVID pandemic, the company has rescheduled their plans for later.
