Smartphone manufacturing giant Realme is gearing up to introduce a new Bluetooth speaker. We know this thanks to a set of recently leaked images in which the product packaging and some of the specifications are clearly seen. As evident from the images (see below), the new product will be sold as the Realme Brick Bluetooth Speaker.

Incidentally, this seems to be the same speaker – the first renders of which – we had revealed a little over a month ago thanks to our in-house tipster @Debayan Roy. Let’s now take a look at what to expect from the Realme Brick Bluetooth Speaker in terms of design and features.

Realme Brick Bluetooth Speaker Design

The Realme Brick Bluetooth speaker seems to be an ordinary, affordable Bluetooth speaker, and as the name suggests, the device sports a brick-like design. We can see the volume rockers on the top with a dedicated pairing key, an LED indicator, and a power on/off button to boot up and turn off the device.

On the right side, we can see a pull-up covering for the charging slot. From the renders, it also seems the product will get a USB Type-C port for charging. As mentioned earlier, this seems to be a run-of-the-mill speaker with a focus on affordability. It doesn’t seem to support things like RGB LED lights and other extras –you know, the typical stuff we get to see on Bluetooth speakers these days.

Realme Brick Bluetooth Speaker Features

The recently leaked images (courtesy of RealmeTimes) also reveal most of the features we can expect from the Realme Brick Bluetooth Speaker. As seen in the images above, the speaker will feature a Dynamic Driver and extra bass radiators for deeper bass. The speaker is rated at 20W RMS and also supports the stereo pairing feature (where you can connect a second Bluetooth speaker to create a stereo effect).

The Realme Brick Bluetooth speaker also happens to be IPX5 rated for water resistance rating, allowing it to resist splashes. While we do not know the battery capacity yet, the retail packaging indicates a playback time of up to 14 hours on a single charge. A mentioned earlier, the device can be charged using a standard USB Type-C cable. The speaker supports pairing with iOS and Android devices with the help of the company’s own Realme Link app.

Realme Brick Bluetooth Speaker Launch Timeline

According to Debayan, the new Bluetooth speaker will come to India in the first half of this month (October 2021.) Unfortunately, that is pretty much all we have for you regarding Realme’s new Bluetooth speaker. We will, of course, keep you posted in case we come across any significant developments in terms of this exciting speaker.
