Realme has been giving out teasers from the past week about the Realme Book Slim. The teasers have revealed a backlit keyboard and Type C Power Delivery. Thanks to realmetimes, we can take a look at even more specifications of the device.
Design & Build
As the name suggests, we expect the device to be thin and light. However, the compact form has not stopped Realme from providing a 2k 14-inch display panel with a resolution of 2160x1440p, which has a peak brightness of 300 nits. This display is paired with a dual speaker setup tuned by Harmon Kardon. The teasers also confirm that the keyboard will be backlit.
While we know that the Type C Power Delivery is going to be there on the ultrabook, let’s take a look at all the ports available. There’s one USB 3.2 (Gen 1) alongside two Type C Ports. One will be used as a PD and the other Type C port can be used as a display port. It also has a 3.5 mm headphone jack. There are 3 microphones that will help you attend all your online meetings and classes. There is a fingerprint sensor for additional security as well. The weight of the ultrabook will be around 1.3 Kgs.
CPU and Storage
The laptop is going to be based on Intel’s mobile processor, i5-1135G7 with Xe Integrated Graphics. The device features up to 16GB RAM and the storage is 512GB. The storage is a PCIe SSD and this assures that the laptop is going to have fast boot times and good speeds overall. There is a 54Wh battery that is going to power this system and also supports fast charging at 65W.
The ultrabook looks very promising not only in terms of power and speed. It can also be used as a great multimedia device since it comes with a decent display and speakers. Since the laptop is said to be priced around Rs 55,000 and upwards, it does seem a good purchase.
There is no official launch date confirmed yet, but we will definitely update once it is out. What are your thoughts about this product? Do let us know in the comments below.
