Realme 9i Listed on Geekbench With Snapdragon 680 SoC and 4GB RAM

Realme 9 series smartphone has been seen popping up on various certification sites this month, thereby hinting at an imminent launch. The company has not yet announced a launch date. However, rumours suggest that the Realme 9 series could launch in January or February 2022. Thanks to a recent leak, we already know quite a lot about the Realme 9i. And now, we have more details about the phone. This one is coming from the benchmarking site Geekbench.

The Realme 9i is listed on the benchmarking site with the model number RMX3491. According to the listing, the device is powered by a ‘Bengal’ code-named octa-core chipset, which has four CPU cores clocked at 1.90GHz and the rest run at 2.40GHz. The chip has integrated Adreno 610 GPU. All these details suggest that the Realme 9i is powered by Snapdragon 680 SoC, paired with 4GB RAM.

The smartphone will come pre-installed with Android 11 OS, with Realme UI custom skin at the top. In Geekbench v5 test, the Realme phone managed to pull off 382 points and 1556 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.

According to recent leaks, the upcoming Realme 9i will have a 6.59-inch FullView display with 2400 × 1080 pixels (FullHD+) resolution. It will feature a 50MP primary sensor, while the selfie shooter is limited to 16MP. It could pack a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support via a USB Type-C port.
