Realme has already confirmed that it will launch the Realme 9 series in India next year. The company didn’t reveal a launch date. However, now it seems that the devices could launch early next year as these are getting necessary certification from multiple authorities. In the latest development, the Realme 9i carrying model number RMX3491 has been spotted on the FCC and TUV certifications, revealing its design and key specifications.
The FCC listing for the new Realme smartphone reveals its rear design. It has a rectangular camera module similar to the Realme GT Neo2. The phone appears to have three cameras on the back and an LED flash unit. The Blue colour variant of the phone has been found on FCC. However, we can expect more colour options at the launch.
Further, the FCC listing also reveals that the Realme phone boots Realme UI 2.0 skin based on Android 11. The device carries a battery capacity of 5,000 mAh. FCC listing hints that the device has no support for 5G connectivity. Other connectivity features that the device will come along with are dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth.
The live shot of Realme 9i from the FCC listing is identical to the renders shared by tipster @OnLeaks (via 91Mobiles). The renders also revealed that the phone has a punch-hole cutout selfie camera and a narrow bezel display. The tipster says the Realme 9i will sport a 6.6-inch FullHD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 16MP punch-hole selfie snapper. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 680 SoC, paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The triple camera setup will include a 50MP primary sensor, joined with 8MP and 2MP sensors. Realme 9i is tipped to support 33W fast charging via a USB Type-C port.

According to recent leaks, the Realme 9 series will include at least three devices – Realme 9i, Realme 9, and Realme 9 Pro. Rumours are rife that the series will debut in India as early as next month.
