Realme 9 Pro+ 5G (RMX3393) Launch Seems Imminent as It Bags NBTC Certification, Camera Details Revealed

Realme 9 series launch seems imminent as the devices have been popping up on multiple certification sites. According to recent leaks, the lineup will include four devices – Realme 9i, Realme 9, Realme 9 Pro, and Realme 9 Pro+ 5G. In the latest development, the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G has appeared on Thailand’s NBTC certification site carrying the RMX3393 model number. The certification hints that the device is getting close to the launch. So, we are likely to hear an official announcement soon.

The NBTC listing confirms the marketing name of RMX3393. Also, it ensures that the device supports 5G connectivity. The listing fails to reveal any key specifications of the phone. Another Realme phone carrying model number RMX3393 has been seen multiple times on the certification sites. Reports believe it could be a 4G variant of the Realme 9 Pro+.

The Realme 9 Pro+ 5G camera details have been revealed via the Camera FV-5 platform. It indicates that the phone has a 16MP front-facing camera. Whereas on the back, there is a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture.

As the name suggests, the Realme 9i will be the most affordable phone in the lineup. The phone was recently passed through the FCC certification site, revealing live images and key specifications. It was spotted on the certification site with the model number RMX3491. The live images confirm that Realme 9i will feature a triple camera setup on the back. The camera module is pretty much identical to Realme GT Neo 2. FCC document also reveals that the Realme phone has a 5,000mAh battery. It boots Realme UI 2.0 skin, which is based on Android 11.

During the Realme 8s launch event held in September, the company talked about the launch timeline of Realme 9. It revealed that the series would launch next year, without mentioning any exact date. Since the device has already bagged multiple certifications, we can soon expect a launch date announcement.
