In India, the Realme 7 Pro and Realme 6 Pro smartphones are now getting Android 11 updates. After months of testing, the stable release of Realme UI 2.0, which is based on Android 11, is now available. Realme says that the update will be phased in and won’t be available right away. It can take some time for all users to receive a notification, and users may check Settings manually at any time. The Android 11 update adds a slew of new features, including three different dark mode models.

The company took to the forums to announce the Realme UI 2.0 update for the Realme 7 Pro and Realme 6 Pro, which is built on Android 11. The Realme 7 Pro’s version number is RMX2170 11.C.20, while the Realme 6 Pro’s version number is RMX2061 11.C.15. The update will be rolled out in stages to a small number of users at first, with a larger release following a few days to ensure there are no crucial bugs.

The changelogs for the Realme 7 Pro and Realme 6 Pro are similar, and the Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 update adds more personalizations to enable users to customise the interface, such as the ability to build their own wallpaper by selecting colours from their images. Third-party icons for apps on the home screen are now supported, and there are three dark style modes to choose from: enhanced, mild, and gentle.

Users of the Realme 7 Pro and Realme 6 Pro can now drag text, images, and files out of a floating window or from one app to another in Split screen mode after installing the update. The Smart Sidebar editing page has been improved with the addition of two tabs and the ability to modify the order of things. Optimized night charging, a feature that monitors charging speed at night to prolong battery life, has been added to the update. Tone Tunes, DND mode customizations, weather animations, vibration effects for text input and gameplay, and improved auto brightness are all included in the update.
