Razer Launches its First AMD-Based Gaming Laptop with Ryzen 5000

Razer Blade is powered by AMD’s eight cores and sixteen threads Ryzen 9 5900HX processor.

Razer has launched its new laptop from its popular Blade 14 Gaming Laptop series. The laptop comes with an AMD processor, which makes it the first laptop from Razer with an AMD processor. The Razer Blade gaming laptops are one of the most powerful and slim machines that you can buy. Let’s take a look at what the Razer Blade laptop has to offer.

The Razer Blade 14 comes in two screen options which include a 1080p panel with a 144Hz refresh rate (100% sRGB IPS panel) and a 1440p panel with a refresh rate of 165Hz (100% DCI-P3 IPS panel).

As for storage, the laptop includes a 1TB PCIe 3.0×4 NVMe SSD, and a non-upgradable 16GB DDR4 RAM with 3200 MHz read-write speed.

Under the hood, the laptop is powered by AMD’s eight cores and sixteen threads Ryzen 9 5900HX processor with a base clock speed of 3.3GHz and a maximum boost clock speed of 4.6GHz. It can be paired with up to RTX 3080 with 8GB VRAM and 100W TGP.

The laptop is fueled by a 61.6WHr rechargeable lithium-ion polymer battery which can be recharged quickly using the 230W power adapter included with the laptop. Razer also claims 12Hr of battery life on a single charge.

As for the ports, the laptop has 2 x USB 3.2 Gen, 2 Type-C with Power Delivery and Display Port 1.4, 2 x USB 3.2 Gen, 2 Type-A Ports, and HDMI 2.1 output. It also includes a 3.5mm headphone/microphone combo port, stereo speakers, Per-key RGB powered by Razer Chroma N-Key rollover backlit keyboard, a glass touchpad, a 720p 1MP webcam, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.2. It measures 16.8 mm x 220 mm x 319.7 mm in dimension.

The AMD Ryzen 5900HX powered Razer Blade 14 is priced at $1,799 (approx Rs 1,32,000) for the base model and is already up for grabs on Razer.com.
