PUBG has been dominating the gaming industry across all platforms whether PC, Console, or Mobile for quite some time now, thanks to its groundbreaking Battle Royale experience and frequent updates. Today PUBG has announced the release date and time for the new 8×8 map – Taego. This map will be available on both PC and Console. Let’s find out more about the upcoming map and features.
PUBG New Taego Map Features
PUBG’s new update 12.2 will go live on 7 July for PC with a new map and other features. To prepare for the new update, PUBG servers will go offline for 8 hours on 6 July from 17:30 PDT/ 6:00 AM IST. After that, you can enjoy the new map and features.
This update will be available on PC on 7 July, and as for Consoles players, this update will be available from 15th July. You can play this new map in either Solo or Squads, including 1-man Squad Mode. You can play it in either TPP(Third-Person Perspective) or FPP (First-Person Perspective). Apart from this, there is a piece of good news for all the Red Zone haters: This map will not feature Red zones.
Apart from the new map this 12.2 update also brings some new features including a new self-revive mechanism, two New Weapons(K2 – 5.6mm AR and MK12 – 5.6mm DMR), a new car based on Hyundai Coupe style, a comeback arena, new team emotes, and a new airdrop type.
