On April 7th, Krafton.Inc registered the domain name ‘battlegroundsmobileindia.in’.
GemWire analysed the website’s source code and discovered ties to a new innovative asset, according to Esports and Gaming Media Platform. “The official website of PUBG Mobile India now links to a new artistic asset, which is a recent creation. According to the concept art, the Indian version of PUBG Mobile will be called “Battlegrounds Mobile India.” An embedded connection to a video on Vimeo, which previously hosted the Diwali Coming Soon creative, led to the new poster creative. There seems to be another private video in their Vimeo asset list with the above thumbnail. ‘India Recall Campaign Motion v02.mp4′ was the name of the latest video clip. According to the article, a new announcement about a move seems to be on the way.
According to the paper, the latest poster creative was discovered on the website and has replaced the previously hosted lantern-flickering creative from the initial PUBG Mobile India announcement. Instead of the original title, the current picture simply displays the word “Battlegrounds Mobile India.” On the poster, there is also a reference to ‘coming soon.’ All of this means that the arrival of PUBG Mobile in India is just around the corner.
