Poco M4 Pro 5G Launch Date Set for November 9; What to Expect?

Xiaomi-backed Poco has finally confirmed the arrival of the Poco M4 Pro 5G. It will be a successor to the Poco M3 Pro 5G launched earlier this year. Through a post on Twitter, the company announced that Poco M4 Pro 5G will launch globally on November 9. Apart from the launch date, the post does not reveal anything about the phone. However, key specifications have surfaced online through various leaks/certifications.

Poco has confirmed that the upcoming M4 Pro 5G will be the company’s last M-series phone for this year. Yesterday, the device was spotted on the Geekbench website along with key specifications. It revealed that the upcoming M4 Pro could pack the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, paired with 8GB RAM. The handset is also expected to come in a 6GB RAM option. It will boot Android 11 out of the box with MIUI custom skin at the top.

The device has also passed through TENAA regulatory body. As per the listing, the Poco M4 Pro 5G will come with a 6.6-inch OLED panel with a FullHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It could pack a 4,900 rated capacity battery with support for 33W fast charging. The phone is listed to have a USB Type-C port and an under-display fingerprint sensor.

According to tipster @Xiaomiui the Poco M4 Pro 5G will feature 50MP triple rear cameras. The camera module is said to include an ultrawide lens and a tele-macro shooter. Hopefully, the company will start teasing the key highlights of Poco M4 Pro 5G in the coming days.
