Poco Global recently revealed that the Poco M3 Pro 5G would have a triple rear camera configuration, led by a 48-megapixel main sensor. The phone will have a 6.5-inch full-HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Poco’s DynamicSwitch feature, which will have “a more flexible viewing experience,” according to Poco. DynamicSwitch would most likely adjust the display’s refresh rate based on the content, potentially extending the battery life of the handset. According to the company, the Poco M3 Pro 5G will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
Poco previously revealed that the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC would power its upcoming handset. A render of the Poco M3 Pro 5G in three colors — Black, Blue, and Yellow — was posted by a tipster. A side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a hole-punch cutout on the touchscreen for the selfie camera were also seen in the renders.
The Poco M3 Pro 5G was reportedly spotted in an Indonesia Telecom certification listing earlier this month, indicating that it will be released in India shortly. The phone was said to allow 22.5W rapid charging at the time, although this has since been proven wrong. It also boots MIUI 12 and has Bluetooth v5.1 compatibility.
