In Korea, Samsung has sold over 1 million Galaxy S21 series units just over two months after their sale.
The Galaxy S21 took 57 days to reach one million sales, which is one month faster than last year’s Galaxy S20, but still ten days slower than the Galaxy S10 series.
The smallest Galaxy S21 is the best-seller, accounting for 52 percent of overall sales (over 500,000 units), with the Galaxy S21 Ultra accounting for 27 percent and the Galaxy S21+ accounting for the remaining 21%. Twenty percent of all Galaxy S21 units sold were unlocked, and sixty percent were purchased online.
Samsung released the Galaxy S21 series in January this year, rather than mid-February as it did with the Galaxy S20. The Galaxy S21 is also cheaper at KRW 999K (Rs. 64,000 converted) than the Galaxy S20, which costs KRW 1.24M (Rs 80,000, converted). Both variables played a major role.
