Oppo Reno 8 series seems to be in the works, which will come as a successor to the last year’s Reno 7. The official confirmation is still pending. However, details about the Oppo Reno 8 have just started surfacing on the internet.
Ahead of any official announcement, a Chinese leakster who goes by the name of Digital Chat Station has shared a render of the Oppo Reno 8 and revealed some of its key specifications too. The render reminds us of the OnePlus 10 Pro, which has just gone official in the global market.
The upcoming Reno 8 might come with a nearly bezel-less display with a punch-hole selfie camera on the upper-left side. It might have a power button on the right, while the volume buttons are on the left side. The device in the render has a big camera module that extends to the left frame.
The Chinese tipster has also shed light on the possible specifications of Oppo Reno 8. According to him, the Oppo phone might sport a 6.55-inch FullHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It could feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor on the back. While details about other sensors are unknown.
Oppo didn’t announce a “Pro+” variant in the Reno 7 lineup. Instead, the company launched Reno 7 SE, and it is rumoured to be working on Reno 7 Lite 5G. So, we are not sure if they will bring Oppo Reno 8 Pro+ in the upcoming Reno 8 series. But we are most likely to see at least the Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro. Hopefully, we’ll have more details on this in the coming weeks.
