Earlier this year, in January 2021, Oppo launched its mid-range handset, the Oppo Reno 5 Pro in India. Six months later, the company has announced the official launch of the brand new Oppo Reno 6 series in the country.
The Oppo Reno 6 Series consists of two models; the Oppo Reno 6 and the Oppo Reno 6 Pro. While the Oppo Reno 6 Pro is set to go on sale starting July 20, the Oppo Reno 6 will be available staring July 29. OPPO Reno 6 Series Specifications
Oppo Reno 6 and Oppo Reno 6 Pro Specifications: The Oppo Reno 6 and 6 Pro both feature a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. On the Reno 6, Oppo has used the new Mediatek Dimensity 900 Processor which is paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB Storage. The Dimensity 900 processor goes pretty neck to neck with Snapdragon 768G.
As for the Oppo Reno 6 Pro, this one features the faster Mediatek Dimensity 1200 SoC — paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. In case you aren’t aware, the Dimensity 1200 is the best performing processor from Mediatek, till now.
Both devices feature a 64MP primary camera along with an 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro lens. At the front, both feature a 32MP front camera. Both of the devices feature a single speaker. In terms of connectivity, both have NFC, WIFI, and Bluetooth.

The Oppo Reno 6 Pro has been launched in a single 12+256GB variant in India. The device will cost ₹39,990.

The Oppo Reno 6 has comes in a single 8GB+128GB variant in India which will cost ₹29,990.
The Oppo Reno 6 and Oppo Reno 6 Pro both are available in two colors — Aurora and Stellar Black. These phones will be available for purchase via Flipkart, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, Croma, Oppo online store, and other retailers. The company is also offering up to Rs. 4,000 cashback with HDFC Bank transactions and Bajaj Finserv, as well as 15 percent instant cashback with Paytm.
