OPPO Reno 6 and OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G Launch Confirmed for India Via a Teaser on Flipkart

Oppo Reno 6 Series will be launched on 14th July in India, will be available first on Flipkart.

The OPPO Reno 6 and OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G which were launched earlier this year in China are ready to make their debut in India. Both phones are set for the launch and will be available via Flipkart on 14th July at 3:00 PM. Reno 6 series teaser features Ranbir Kapoor and flaunts its Booked Flare Portrait Video feature along with the #SayItWithRanbir marketing campaign.

OPPO was also about to launch its Reno 6 Pro+ along with these two phones. But for some reason, it hasn’t been teased yet on Flipkart. So it seems like the top variant of the Reno 6 Series will surface later on in India.

Specifications of OPPO Reno 6

The OPPO Reno 6 comes with a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a punch-hole camera on the top left and has a 90Hz refresh rate. The display will have a resolution of 2400 X 1080 pixels. The rear optical house of Reno 6 will have a triple camera setup, it would consist of a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP tertiary sensor for Macro shots. While at the front, it will have a 32MP selfie camera and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The phone will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC with up to 12GB RAM and will have up to 256GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by using a microSD card. The phone will be juiced by a 4300mAh battery and will have up to 65W fast charging support.

The phone will run on Android 11 out of the box and will have ColorOS 11 skin on top for customization. The smartphone will have 5G/4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi and, GPS, Bluetooth 5.2, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer in terms of connectivity.

Specifications of OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G

The OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G comes with a little more of everything as compared to Reno 6. It comes with a more powerful processor, a bigger battery, and a larger display size. While the Camera and storage setup merely remains the same.

It has a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a punch-hole camera on the top left and has a 90Hz refresh rate. The display will have a resolution of 2400 X 1080 pixels. Expected price of OPPO Reno 6 series

The Oppo Reno 6 series was launched in China earlier this year in around May. Generally, Oppo launches its products in India at prices similar to their Chinese counterparts. So the Indian prices of the Oppo Reno 6 and Oppo Reno 6 Pro are also expected to be similar to those of Chinese prices.

The Oppo Reno 6 was launched in two variants, 8GB+128GB storage was priced at CNY 2,799 (nearly Rs 31,600) and 12GB+256GB storage was priced at CNY 3,199 (nearly Rs 36,500).

On other hand the Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G was launched in two variants, 8GB+128GB storage was priced at CNY 3,499 (nearly Rs 39,800) and 12GB+256GB storage was priced at CNY 3,799 (nearly Rs 43,500).
