The official Kenya website of Oppo Reno 5F teased the launch and availability date of the upcoming smartphone today on 23 February. The smartphone will be the fourth addition to the Oppo Reno 5 Series. The previous three releases were Oppo Reno 5, Oppo Reno 5 Pro, and Oppo Reno 5 Pro+. However, the latest smartphone is rumored to have a different back design than the rest of the series members. Along with the launch date and supposed sale date, the company website also teased some of the specifications that we can expect in the all-new Oppo Reno 5F.
Oppo Reno 5F Specifications
Among the specifications teased on the official website, the one that caught our eye was the quad rear camera setup with an AI color portrait mode. The back design shows off a rectangular-shaped camera module housing a quad rear camera setup. The previous smartphones in this lineup did not bear this feature. Two camera features namely AI color portrait mode and dual-view video mode were also revealed on the smartphone website.
Earlier, GSMArena had reported that the phone bears a 48MP primary sensor. For the selfie-camera, the display has a hole-punch cut-out. Talking about the performance, the smartphone houses a modest 4310 mAh battery that supports 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0. A USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack were also spotted at the bottom of the brand new Oppo Reno 5F which boasts of an “Ultra Slim Body.”
Oppo Reno 5F Availability and Launch
As per the dedicated website for the Oppo Reno 5F, the phone will launch on 22 March. However, there is another timer on the website that is counting down to March 26. Hence, it is believed that the 22 March may be the announcement date of the Oppo Reno 5F and 26 March might be the actual launch date.
Now all we can do is wait and anticipate the newest addition to the Oppo Reno 5 Series. After the official launch in Kenya, it won’t be long until the smartphone releases in India too!
