The launch of the anticipated Oppo Find X5 series does seem near as the Pro has now bagged CMIIT certification. The Oppo Find X5 Pro has been spotted on the certification site with model number PFFM20. Last week, the Find X5 and X5 Pro emerged on the TDRA certification site, and now the Pro model has bagged another necessary certification, hinting at an imminent launch.
According to recent reports, Oppo might introduce the Find X5 Pro in two chipset variants. One with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and the other with Dimensity 9000 SoC. According to a Chinese tipster WHYLAB, the model Oppo PFFM20 belongs to the Dimensity 9000 SoC-powered Find X5 Pro.
The upcoming Oppo Find X5 Pro is said to have a 6.7-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display with 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 10-bit HDR support. The phone could offer a triple camera setup on the back, consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera, a 50MP Sony IMX766 ultrawide camera, and a 13MP telephoto lens with a 5x hybrid zoom and 20x digital zoom.
On the front, the Oppo Find X5 Pro could feature a 32MP Sony IMX709 selfie sensor with a 90-degree field of view. The Find X5 Pro is tipped to house a 5,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. The vanilla Oppo Find X5 is said to feature Snapdragon 888 SoC, 120Hz AMOLED screen, and the same camera setup which is made in collaboration with Hasselblad.
