Oppo F19s Moves Closer to the Launch As It Gets Certified By Bluetooth SIG

Oppo F19s moniker gets confirmed by Bluetooth SIG certification. Expected to launch during the festive season.

Oppo F19s is said to launch in India soon as a special edition phone. It was only a rumor until today. Now, the arrival, as well as the moniker, has been confirmed by Bluetooth SIG certification. It will be the fourth phone in the F19 series after Oppo F19, F19 Pro, and F19 Pro+ 5G, which were unveiled earlier this year.

Bluetooth SIG listing for the Oppo F19s reveals that the device carries model number CPH2223. The device supports Bluetooth 5.0 standards for connectivity. The device has also received approval from India’s BIS authority. The company has not announced anything about the Oppo F19s such as launch date or availability.

A recent leak revealed that Oppo may introduce the F19s during the festive season. Last year, the company announced Oppo F17 Diwali Edition, and this year, Oppo may be following the same with the F19 series. If rumors are to be believed, then we might see Oppo F19s in the Indian market around the Diwali festival, which is happening in early November.

Oppo F19s specifications (rumored)

The phone is likely to share most of the specifications with Oppo F19, and we can expect some design changes as it is reportedly coming as a special edition phone. So, the Oppo F19s may come with a 6.43-inch FullHD+ AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout for a 16MP selfie shooter. It is likely to feature a triple camera setup on the back which may include a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth shooter.

Oppo F19s could be powered by Snapdragon 662 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It may pack a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The handset will boot Android-11 based ColorOS skin at the top. It is likely to feature an under-display fingerprint sensor.
