Oppo A55 with 50MP Triple Cameras, Helio G35 SoC Launched in India: Price, Specifications

Oppo A55 has been launched as the company’s latest budget phone in India, priced under Rs 20,000. It is a 4G phone, while its 5G variant was launched earlier this year. The newly-launched Oppo A55 is highlighted with specs like 50MP triple rear cameras, 5000mAh battery, and Helio G35 chipset. Oppo A55 Price in India, Availability 

The Oppo A55 is priced at Rs 15,490 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. It also comes in a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant for Rs 17,490. It comes in Starry Black and Rainbow Blue colours and will go on sale starting October 3 via Amazon India and Oppo E-store.

The new Oppo phone is built around a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with a 60Hz normal refresh rate, 120Hz touch sampling rate, up to 70% NTSC color gamut, and 550nits maximum brightness. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 chipset, coupled with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. It has a microSD card slot, allowing storage expansion of up to 256GB. 

It boasts a triple camera setup on the back that includes a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP macro unit, and a 2MP depth sensor. The small punch-hole cutout on the front houses a 16MP selfie snapper. The device runs ColorOS 11.1 skin, based on Android 11.

The Oppo A55 is backed by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging via USB Type-C port. It features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner which is integrated with the power button. The device is IPX4 certified for splash resistance. Connectivity features include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Last but not least, the handset measures 163.6×75.7×8.4mm and weighs about 193g.
