Oppo has quietly debuted Oppo A16s as the company’s latest budget phone in Netherland. It is nothing but the Oppo A16 with NFC support, which was recently launched in Indonesia. The A16s features MediaTek Helio G35 chipset, triple rear cameras, a 5,000mAh battery, and an HD+ display.
Oppo A16s: Price, Availability
The newly-announced Oppo A16s price has been set at €149 which roughly translated to Rs 13,000. It comes in Crystal Black and Pearl Blue color options and is already available for purchase in Netherland via the company’s official website.
Oppo A16s specifications
The smartphone offers a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD display with an 88.7 percent screen-to-body ratio, 60Hz refresh rate, 480nits peak brightness, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, Oppo A16s is powered by Helio G35 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. There’s a microSD card slot for additional storage up to 256GB.
Oppo A16s boasts a triple camera setup on the back which includes a 13MP primary shooter, a 2MP mono camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. There’s an 8MP camera inside the waterdrop notch for selfies and video calling. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery.
Connectivity options include – 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, Wi-Fi 2.4/5GHz, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. The phone features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlocking as additional unlocking options. On the software front, Oppo A16s boots ColorOS 1.11 skin based on Android 11.
