OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G has been launched as the company’s latest budget 5G phone in India. The highlights of the device include a 64MP triple camera setup on the back, an octa-core Snapdragon 695 processor, a 120Hz display, and 33W fast charging support. The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite price in India starts at Rs 19,999 and will go on sale starting April 30. Alongside the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G, the company has also launched the OnePlus 10R and Nord Buds.
A close look at the device reminds us of the Realme 9 Pro which was launched in India in February. Not just the design, the entire specifications of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G are no different from that of the Realme 9 Pro. So, the new OnePlus Nord phone is nothing but a Realme phone with OnePlus branding and new colour options.

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G features a rectangular camera module on the back that consists of three sensors and an LED flash. The company’s logo is located at the centre. But, for the OnePlus 10R, the company has shifted the logo to the bottom-right side. In fact, it is the first OnePlus phone with new logo placement.
On the front, it has a punch-hole cutout at the upper-left side for the selfie camera. The Nord CE 2 Lite 5G has a slightly noticeable chin on the lower side. It has a power button on the right side that doubles as a fingerprint scanner.

The newly-announced Nord CE 2 Lite 5G phone features a 6.59-inch LCD screen with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset. It is a 6nm-based octa-core processor with 2 Cortex-A77 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.7GHz. The chipset mainly powers mid-range phones.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G is offered in two memory configurations: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB + 128GB. The device boots Android 12 out of the box with a layer of OxygenOS 12.1 skin at the top. It features a triple camera setup on the back that includes a 64MP primary camera, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there’s a 16MP snapper for selfies and video calls.
The OnePlus phone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. One thing that you will on this phone is the alert slider. The handset features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and supports face unlocking too. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G starts at Rs 19,999 for the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It also comes in an 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant for Rs 21,999. The device comes in two colour options: Blue Tide and Black Dust. It will be up for sale in India on Amazon, OnePlus official website, and retail stores, starting April 30, at 12PM IST.
