OnePlus teased the launch of its new foldable device just a day before Samsung’s big event. And it is on the same day as the Samsung launch day. And just like you, we also have so many questions. Is it just a publicity stunt to steal the limelight from Samsung event? Is Oneplus actually going to launch a foldable device? How was OnePlus so discreet that there were no leaks around the said device?
All we know is that the launch is set to be today at 10 AM, ET. While looking at the device closely it looks like 2 phones put together with a hinge and not really a flexible display as we have seen on Samsung devices. The right side of the device has a volume rocker and to the left, there is a power button just beside the well-known OnePlus Alert slider. However, it could still be a concept reveal and a great time to enter the market alongside the Samsung launch.
OnePlus is known for pairing flagship hardware with near to stock software that results in a clean experience. The company not only launched a flagship smartphone OnePlus 9 Pro this year but also a good mid-ranger, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G. OnePlus is known for its fast charging technology as well.
