OnePlus 9RT Specifications Teased Officially: SD888 SoC, 120Hz E4 AMOLED Display, 65W Charging, and More

OnePlus 9RT key specifications teased

OnePlus 9RT is all set to launch on October 13 in China. It will also come to India, however, the official announcement is yet to be done. This time, there will be no “T” refresh for the vanilla OnePlus 9 and Pro model. The OnePlus 9RT will be an upgraded version of the OnePlus 9R. Earlier today, the key specifications of the OnePlus 9RT were officially teased on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo, showing an upgraded chipset.

The OnePlus 9RT is confirmed to pack Snapdragon 888 chipset, an upgrade from the Snapdragon 870 in 9R. The chipset is paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The phone will come with an E4 AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support.

The device is confirmed to pack a 4,500mAh battery and supports 65W fast charging. Rumors are that the OnePlus 9RT will bring in a 6.55-inch FullHD+ display. It might be equipped with a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, the same sensor used in Nord 2. The camera layout is different from the one in the OnePlus 9R. The 9R has a quad-camera setup, while the 9RT has triple rear cameras. The selfie camera will be housed inside a punch-hole cutout, as seen in leaked renders.

The OnePlus 9RT will be offered in Black and White colour options. It will bring a better chipset and cameras than the 9R. We’ll learn more about the device at the launch event, which is set for October 13.
