OnePlus launched the OnePlus 9RT in China in October. The company announced that there would not be a “T” series phone this year but launched this device as the successor to the OnePlus 9R, and now we have news that the OnePlus 9RT will be launching in India in December.
Courtesy of famous gadgets leaker Ishan Agarwal (via @91Mobiles), we can also expect the OnePlus Buds Z2 to launch alongside the smartphone. There are also rumours that the company may brand the OnePlus RT and skip on the number. So, the launch is probably near, and you are interested in the specifications of both these products?
OnePlus 9RT/ RT Specifications
On the display front, we have a 6.64-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120HZ refresh rate. The touch Sampling Rate of the panel is 600Hz, which assists in gaming and provides a smoother experience overall.
The primary camera seems to have improved from the OnePlus 9R, as we now see a 50MP Sensor on 9RT. It also sports a 16MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. We get the same 16MP selfie shooter through a punch hole at the top-left corner of the display.
The phone comes with a mighty processor, the Snapdragon 888. You also get support for 65-Watt charging and a 4500mAh battery. Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, an in-display fingerprint scanner, etc., are other hardware specifications of the device.
The phone launched in 3 storage options, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB Storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB Storage, and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB Storage and the prices are Yuan 3,299 (USD 512), Yuan 3,499 (USD 543) and Yuan 3,799 (USD 590) respectively.
OnePlus Buds Z2 Specifications
The OnePlus Buds Z2 indeed looks like a worthy upgrade over its predecessor. They come with 11mm dynamic drivers with Active Noise Cancellation and are also Dolby Atmos certified. The ANC is said to block 40db of external noise with the help of three microphones in each earbud.
Bluetooth codes supported on the OnePlus Buds Z2 are the AAC and SBC. They also support the BLE, SPP, HFP, A2DP, and AVRCP Bluetooth transmission protocols. With ANC turned on, you can expect 5 hours of continuous music playback, and with ANC turned off, 7 hours of continuous music playback from the earbuds. However, with the included case, which will recharge the battery of these buds, you can expect a total playback time of 38 hours.
You also get support for Wrap Charge, which can give you enough battery for 5 hours of black from 10 minutes of charging. You can get IPX4 splash resistance, which assures you these will be resistant to sweat and could be a great pair of TWS to use while you work out.
The OnePlus Buds Z2 retails at Yuan 499, which roughly converts to USD 77.
Expected Indian pricing of OnePlus 9RT and Buds Z2
According to 91Mobiles, the OnePlus 9RT could launch for under Rs 40,000 and the OnePlus Buds Z2 for around Rs 5,000. Both these prices, given the current market seem promising, considering the specifications of these devices.
There is no official announcement of the launch of these products in India, and neither has the company revealed the Indian prices. So, please, take this data with a grain of salt. All we can expect is for brands to launch the best value for money devices. And let’s hope the OnePlus 9RT is priced competitively.
