After many leaks and rumors about the OnePlus 9RT launch, it officially launched in China. The “T” series of phones from OnePlus has been different from time to time. The OnePlus 9RT comes with Snapdragon 888 SoC and has all the flagship killer specifications.
While OnePlus announced that there would not be a “T” series phone this year, they meant it for Global markets and its flagship lineup. The OnePlus 9RT is a successor to the OnePlus 9R, the cheapest flagship offering from the OnePlus at launch.
OnePlus 9RT Specifications
As mentioned earlier, the phone has a mighty processor, the Snapdragon 888, which was the most powerful SoC on Android right up until the Snapdragon 888+ launched. You can get the phone in 3 storage options, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB Storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB Storage, and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB Storage. We get the best-in-class storage, as the RAM is LPDDR5 and the storage is UFS 3.1.
On the display front, there is a 120HZ refresh rate, Full HD+, OLED. It is a flat display, unlike the OnePlus 9 Pro. Another point to note is that the Touch Sampling Rate of the panel is 600Hz, which assists in gaming and provides a smoother experience overall.
The primary camera seems to have improved from the OnePlus 9R, as we now see a 50MP Sensor on 9RT. It also sports a 16MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. We get the same 16MP selfie shooter through a punch hole at the top-left corner of the display.
The OnePlus 9RT is backed by a 4500mAh of battery and supports 65-Watt charging. You get the 65W charger in the box. It also supports USB PD of up to 33W, which is always good to have if you forget your charger and are on the go. It also packs other perks like Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, an in-display fingerprint scanner, etc.
For software, the phone will run on ColorOS 12 based on Android 11 as all OnePlus devices in china run on ColorOS instead of OxygenOS.
