OnePlus 10 Pro Gets 3C Certified With 80W Fast Charging Support

OnePlus 10 Pro could be the company's first phone to support 80W fast charging.

OnePlus’s next flagship series is already confirmed to launch next month in China’s domestic market. It was recently spotted on a Chinese retailer website JD.com, suggesting that the OnePlus 10 series might go official on January 4. While we wait for the brand to start teasing its specifications, the OnePlus 10 Pro has been listed on China’s 3C certifications website, revealing several key details.

The OnePlus phone has been spotted on the certification website with the model number NE2210. It does not reveal the device name. However, reports believe that the model number is linked to the OnePlus 10 Pro. As per the 3C listing, the device supports up to 80W fast charging. It also reveals the presence of 5G connectivity, which is quite obvious.

As of now, 65W is the maximum charging speed supported by any OnePlus phone in the past. Now, it seems like the upcoming OnePlus 10 Pro will take it to 80W. It is not the fastest charging speed for phones as Xiaomi has launched many phones with 120W charging support. However, this will be a nice upgrade over the 65W Warp Charge.

Based on past leaks, we can expect the OnePlus 10 Pro to bring a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED screen with QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It is already confirmed by the brand to pack Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The phone could feature a 32MP punch-hole style selfie shooter and 50MP camera setup on the back with Hasselblad branding. OnePlus 10 Pro is said to support 50W wireless charging.
