Nvidia finally unveiled its latest flagship GPU today at the ongoing COMPUTEX 2021 after delaying the launch multiple times. The RTX 3080 Ti is priced at $1,199 and RTX 3070 Ti at $599 will be available worldwide from 3rd June and 10th June respectively.
The graphic cards were originally supposed to launch the previous month but due to some problems, it was pushed back. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is considered to be the most delayed graphic card of the GeForce RTX 30 series.
The RTX 3080 Ti is very much similar to RTX 3080 with an identical design. But with the RTX 3080 Ti, you get an upper hand in power and VRAM. The RTX 3080 Ti includes 12GB of GDDR6X memory, a 2GB increase from the RTX 3080. With the RTX 3080 Ti, Nvidia also offers a separate Cryptocurrency Mining Processor for the Ethereum miners.
“With RTX such a huge success, gamers, and creators will be thrilled with the performance and features the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti offers,” said Jeff Fisher, senior vice president of the GeForce business unit at NVIDIA. “As the new flagship to the RTX family, the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is the ultimate upgrade for GPU enthusiasts of any generation.”
The Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti packs 1.5x more performance than the previous RTX 3070 and includes 8GB of GDDR6X memory. The RTX 3070 Ti will launch on June 10 and will be priced at $599.
Just like other cards in the RTX 30 series lineup, both the 3080 Ti and 3070 Ti will support Nvidia’s ray tracing and DLSS technologies.
