OnePlus’ co-founder, Carl Pei, who in October last year split with the tech giant, finally took the wraps off his latest company with an interesting name “Nothing”. Although Carl Pei didn’t spill out any details about the company, some rumors hinted that the company might launch audio products in the near future. The company has now teased its first product, which they will announce in June 2021. However, the Launch article didn’t shed much light on the details of this upcoming product. Let’s take a look at what the company has to offer with Ear 1 earbuds.
Nothing to Launch its First product “Nothing Ear 1 Wireless Earbuds”
Late last year, Carl Pei revealed his latest company called Nothing. Until now, the CEO has been quiet about the company’s first range of products. In a blog post, Pei announced the name of the company’s first offering. According to Carl Pei, Nothing’s first product would be a pair of fully wireless earbuds. None refers to it as the Ear 1. The CEO remained tight-lipped about the forthcoming Nothing product.
Nothing’s first product is being developed in partnership with Teenage Engineering, according to a new teaser. Concept 1, which was teased in March 2021, is supposed to have some primary elements in Ear 1. The idea was created with three concepts in mind: weightless, timeless, and effortless.

In the blog post, Carl Pei also stated:
“Ear 1 is only the beginning, the first step in a long and exciting journey ahead”
“Design is still top secret but what we can tell you is that Ear 1 combines notes of transparency, iconic form, and refined functionality. It is the starting point that will define the artistry, confidence, and craftsmanship that will carry our products and services for years to come.”
