Nokia XR20 Rugged Phone Design Revealed in a Teaser – Nokia is gearing up to launch a rugged smartphone on 27th July, as the company teased an image of the device. The brand claims that “the phone will never require a case” hinting towards a rugged smartphone. The teaser reveals the smartphone itself in dark blue color, covered in water droplets suggesting an IP68 rating.
The speculation of this rugged phone begin when a smartphone with model number TA-1362 was spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance website, and specs of the same device were revealed via a Russian e-commerce website, which suggested the handset could be Nokia XR20. Now, a render of the smartphone has surfaced on Nokia’s community form. Let’s have a look.
Nokia XR20 Design

The Nokia XR20 spots a square-camera cutout at the rear, which seems to be a triple camera setup and a LED flash. Under the camera, we can see the classic Nokia logo. On the left edge, the phone houses a power button with a textured finish.
From the image, it’s clear that the phone will be well-built, and it may even be the strongest Nokia phone yet. Moving towards the bottom, the handset features a USB Type-C port, Speaker grille, 3.5mm headphone jake, and a cutout for a microphone.

Nokia XR20 Specifications
The Nokia XR20 features a 6.67-inch FHD+ LCD with a thin bezel. Under the hood, the device is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC paired with Adreno 619 GPU. XR20 packs 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which may or may not be expandable via a micro SD card.
As for the optics, the XR20 will house a triple camera setup, which includes a 48MP primary sensor, 13MP secondary sensor, and a LED flash at the rear. The device is rumored to pack an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls. It could boot Android 11 OS with stock UI out of the box.
As for the connectivity features, the XR20 includes 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, Bluetooth v5.1, NFC, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging. The device will be fueled by a 4630mAh battery, but there is no word regarding fast-charging support.
