Nokia XR20 Rugged Phone Launched – HMD Global has officially launched the Nokia XR20 Rugged Phone. The rugged phone’s built quality is MIL-STD810H-certified, and the company claims the device can withstand a drop from 1.8 meters.

The company has also promised four years of updates on the Nokia XR20. Apart from that, the handset also features Gorilla Glass Victus on the front and IP68 certification. Previously, Nokia teased the phone in its community form, so we already saw the design of this rugged phone. Let’s take a look at what the XR20 has in store for us.

The rugged phone flaunts a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with Gorilla Glass Victus coating. the handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The phone packs a 4,630mAh battery with 18W fast charging and 15W wireless charging support. XR20 will boot stock Android 11 OS out of the box. Apart from that, HMD Global promises 3 years of OS upgrades and up to 4 years of security updates.

As for the cameras, XR20 houses a dual-camera setup at the rear which includes, a 48MP primary sensor and a 13MP wide-angle sensor. On the front, the device has an 8MP sensor for selfies and video calls. For connectivity, the device features a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Bluetooth 5.1.

Nokia XR20 Price & Availability

The Nokia XR20 is available in 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant option which retails at $550 (approx Rs 41,000). The handset will go on sale from  August 24th and will be available in two color options Ultra Blue and Granite. Unfortunately, there is no word yet on whether the phone will make it to the Indian Market.
