Motorola could launch at least G-series smartphones in the next few weeks – Moto G51 5G and Moto G71 5G. The Moto G51 5G was recently spotted on Geekbench, and now we have a net set of details coming from a German publication, Techniknews.net.
The Motorola Moto G51 5G is code-named “Cyprus 5G” and bears the model number “XT2171-1”. According to the report, the device will feature a triple-camera setup on the back that consists of a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera that doubles as a depth sensor, and a 2MP sensor, likely a macro sensor. Moto G51 5G will be fitted with a 13MP front-facing camera.
The Moto G51 reportedly has a FullHD+ display. However, the size and refresh rate are currently unknown. Last week, it was spotted on benchmarking site Geekbench, revealing some of its key specifications. As per the listing, the handset could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset, paired with 4GB RAM. We can expect a 6GB RAM variant as well. The G51 will boot Android 11 out of the box.
While Motorola has not yet broken its silence on the Moto G51 5G, the report claims that it will launch next month. In the coming month, the Lenovo-owned company is also expected to uncover Moto G71 5G. It was recently passed through FCC certification, suggesting an imminent launch. FCC document revealed that the Moto G71 5G has five 5G bands, a 5,000mAh battery, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and NFC.
