Motorola is ready to launch another E-series smartphone in India. The company took to Twitter to tease the launch of Moto E40 in India, without revealing any specific date. It is most likely to go official this month.
The tweet by Motorola does not reveal anything about the Moto E40. While we wait for the Lenovo-owned company to start teasing the phone’s design and key specifications, a Romanian retailer website emag.ro has revealed the entire specifications, images, as well as the pricing of Moto E40, which leaves us nothing to be imagined about the device.

The phone has been listed in two colours, namely – Carbon Gray and Pink Clay. It has a flat display with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera and relatively thick bottom bezels than at the top. It appears to have a textured back housing triple cameras and a fingerprint scanner.
Motorola Moto E40 has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with 1600×720 pixels (HD+) resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is fuelled by an octa-core chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The camera island on the back consists of a 48MP primary shooter, a 2MP depth, and a 2MP macro unit.
There’s an 8MP sensor for selfies and video calling. Moto E40 has a 4,000mAh battery and carries a weight of 198g. Connectivity features include 4G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.
It measures 75.64×168.08×9.14mm. The Moto E40 has been listed on the Romain retailer website with RON779.99 price tag, which roughly translates to Rs 13,600.
