Motorola’s budget E-series will soon get a new member dubbed Moto E40. While we wait for an official announcement, entire specifications and press renders of the Motorola Moto E40 are now leaked by a reliable tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore.
Motorola Moto E40 Design
The press renders of Moto E40 show a flat display with a centered punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. Bezels are relatively thick at the bottom than on the other sides. The device boasts a vertical triple camera array on the rear side and the fingerprint scanner sits right next to the camera island.
The power button, volume rockers, and an additional button (likely to trigger Google Assistant) can be seen on the right side and the left side has a sim tray. Moto E40 will come in two colour options with a textured rear panel. The bottom portion has cutouts for a speaker grille, USB Type-C port, and a microphone, while the 3.5mm headphone jack sits at the top side.

According to the leak, Moto E40 will offer a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with 1600×720 pixels FullHD+ display, 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 90Hz refresh rate. It could be powered by a Unisoc T700 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The phone is said to pack a 4,000mAh battery with 10W charging.
Moto E40 is tipped to feature triple rear cameras on the back which includes a 64MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth shooter. It may have an 8MP sensor for selfies and video calling. The device boots Android 11 OS. Connectivity features that the phone is said to have are Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, USB Type-C port, FM Radio, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, and dual-SIM support. Last but not the least, the Moto E40 is said to measure 165.08×75.64×9.14 mm and weighs 198g.
Motorola is yet to confirm the arrival of the Moto E40. However, going by the leaks, we are likely to hear the launch announcement in the coming weeks.
