Motorola G31, India Launch Date Tipped

Full HD+, OLED Display, Triple Camera setup and more.

Motorola launched five devices last week in the European market. The devices launched were Moto G200, Moto G71, Moto G51, Moto G41, and Moto G31. The three devices spotted on India’s BIS’s Certification website are Moto G31, Moto G51, and Moto G71. Now, the tipped launch date of the Moto G31 is 29 November 2021.

Mukul Sharma, aka @stufflistings, has tipped that the Motorola G31 will launch on 29 of this month. Given his track record, we can expect the device to launch on the given date.

Three devices were spotted on India BIS’s Certification website, and the date for G31 is already out, all thanks to our in-house tipster, @Gadgetsdata. Let us have a look at the specifications of the Moto G31.

Hardware specifications of Motorola G31

On the display front, the device has a 6.4-inch, FullHD+ OLED panel. This is a 60Hz refresh rate display. It has a punch-hole display that houses the 13 MegaPixel front camera sensor. A fingerprint sensor is present on the side of the phone.

Triple cameras have become standard in this segment, and the same follows here. The devices house three-sensor, 50MP + 8MP + 2MP. The 50MP sensor is probably the main sensor, with an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro/depth sensor is what we think. If you think it will be a different combination, let us know in the comments below.

Moto G31 is powered by MediaTek Helio G85 SoC paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone supports 10W charging speeds and has a 5,000 mAh battery. The device will come with a USB Type-C port. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack which is slowly vanishing even from budget offerings. The phone is also IP52 rating certified and has a microSD card slot for memory expansion.

Pricing of Motorola G31?

While the Motorola G31 launched in Europe for a price tag of EUR 199, which roughly converts to Rs 16,800, we can expect Motorola to launch the device priced competitively, as India is a price-conscious market. There are already some great phones in the sub Rs 20,000 department, so we have to see how Motorola prices the Moto G31.

Let us know what price you think Motorola should launch the Moto G31 and if you are looking forward to this device? Until then, stay tuned to Oyprice and subscribe to our YouTube channel for regular news and updates.
