Motorola’s affordable Moto G-series and the premium Edge-series will reportedly get a couple of new members in the coming months. It includes Moto G62 5G, Moto G82 5G, Edge 30, Edge 30 Lite, and Moto G 5G (2022). The official confirmation is still pending. However, leaks have been continuously spilling details about the devices. In a fresh leak, Evan Blass has leaked official images of Motorola Edge 30 and Moto G 5G (2022).
Both Motorola Edge 30 and Moto G 5G (2022) have a triple camera setup on the back. Also, both of them feature a centred punch-hole selfie camera for selfie camera. Let’s take a close look at them one by one.

Motorola Edge 30
Motorola Edge 30 will be a mid-range phone with a triple camera setup on the back. The company has already launched the first member of the Edge 30 series in the form of Edge 30 Pro. Besides the vanilla Edge 30, Motorola is also expected to launch Edge 30 Ultra. The latest leak reveals that the Edge 30 has a punch-hole display with very slim bezels.
The smartphone features a triple rear camera setup of a typical Motorola design. Not just the images, leakster Evan Blass has revealed Edge 30’s specifications too. As per the leak, the phone has a 6.55-inch pOLED screen with a FullHD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. It has a high refresh rate of 144Hz. The device is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset, coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage.
In terms of optics, the Motorola Edge 30 boasts a 50MP primary sensor on the back. It is further joined with a 50MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth shooter. It will come with a 32MP snapper for selfies and video calls. The phone is said to pack a 4,020mAh battery with 33W fast charging support that will be provided within the box.
Motorola has not announced a launch date for Edge 30. However, Evan Blass claims that the device will start shipping globally by the end of this month.
Motorola Moto G 5G (2022)
As per the leaked official images, Moto G 5G (2022) also has a triple camera setup on the back. It also has a punch-hole cutout at the centre for the selfie camera. The device is codenamed “Austin”.
According to Evan Blass, the phone has a 6.53-inch display with 720 x 1,600 resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, paired with 4GB/6GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. The base variant is said to have 64GB of inbuilt storage.
The triple camera setup on the Moto G 5G (2022) includes a 50MP primary shooter, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. It will be equipped with a 13MP selfie camera. The device is said to house a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. It has a power button on the right side that doubles as a fingerprint scanner.
