Moto Tab G20 to Launch on 30th September

A clean Android Experince on an 8-inch HD+ display

Motorola has launched quite a few phones this year and is coming back with good offerings. Today, the company just announced the launch date of its upcoming Moto Tab G20 on Twitter. This link redirects to the Flipkart product page of the device. The catchphrase of which is, “Pure learning. Pure Fun.” In a way, the statement conveys that Motorola is targeting this device towards kids.

The Moto Tab G20 might be a worthy competitor to the recently launched Realme Pad, which offers good specifications for the price it comes. Let us take a look at the specifications of the device.

The Moto Tab G20 will have an entire metal body, and it indeed does look like a good device. On the display front, it will feature an 8-inch HD+ display which by definition is 1600×900 pixels. An 8-inch HD+ resolution display paired with Dolby Atmos speakers might be an adequate device for media consumption. It surely is decent enough for students to attend classes and for other general purposes.

The Moto Tab G20 is powered by the Mediatek Helio P22T Octa-core processor. The tablet has 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM. The processor used is decent enough for day-to-day tasks but will not withstand heavy multitasking. It will also support dedicated Google Kids Space, with hundreds of free e-books, parental controls, etc. This further proves that Motorola is targeting the G20 Tab towards younger children.

All of this will be powered by a 5100mAh battery, which on paper looks decent considering the processor is not very power-hungry, and the battery has to power an 8-inch HD+ Display. Motorola claims 15 hours of video playback and a screen time of 18 hours while browsing the web.

If priced correctly, the Moto Tab G20 can be a successful device considering the various use cases in times of the pandemic.
