Moto G22 Set to Launch in India On 8th April: Expected Pricing & Specifications

After first launching its Moto G22 in European countries last month, Motorola is all set to launch its new smartphone in the Indian market. If we were to go by the leaked Flipkart microsite, the Moto G22 will be launching on 8th April and is expected to feature a MediaTek Processor along with other mid-range specs.

Expected Specifications

Starting from the inside, the Moto G22 packs a MediaTek Helio G37 octa-core SoC paired with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB of storage, while the device will be powered by a pretty large 5000mAh battery that also supports 20W TurboPower fast charging.

Coming to the outside, the front of the device features a 6.5-inch HD+ 90Hz LCD display accompanied by a centrally placed hole punch cutout for its 16MP selfie camera. Meanwhile, the back of the device features a quad-camera setup. This includes a 50-megapixel primary and 8-megapixel ultra-wide cameras paired with two 2-meagapixel depth and macro vision sensors.

Besides that the Moto G22 ships with near-stock Android 12 operating system coupled with up to a 1TB dedicated micro-SD card slot, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, USB-C 2.0, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, face unlock, and a 3.5mm jack.

Pricing & Availability

As for its pricing and availability the Moto G22 is expected to priced around the Rs 14,300 price point if we were to go by the European pricing of EUR 169.99 and will be available to purchase on Flipkart.

Furthermore, the Moto G22 will be available in three colours including White, Cosmic Black and a Mint Green option that will be available afterwards.
