Android 12 is the update that brings significant design changes to Android. The biggest difference this time around is the “Material You” update. It brings Dynamic Theming, which means that the theme of your device revolves around the colour scheme of the wallpaper. This feature is available only on Pixel devices and will soon be available on other Android phones.
Thanks to Mishaal Rahman, who found out about this from digging in the source code of Monet(Android 12’s wallpaper-based theme system), other manufacturers will be following the dynamic theming system.

While most of the brands are available in this list, some renowned brands like Samsung, ASUS, and Honor are still missing. However, there is a high probability that these brands will also implement dynamic theming with their upcoming software builds.
One crucial factor to note is, these brands have their skin on top of Android. So, only time can only answer how well the implementation of wallpaper-based themes (dynamic theming) will be.
However, many users do like Android 12’s Material You theming system as it changes the default icon colors and the widgets, volume sliders, notification panel, and a lot more.
