Micromax In 2B is the company’s latest In series phone that was launched in the last week of July 2021. The device is not even a month old, and the company has increased the prices of both variants. Micromax In 2B was launched in 4GB RAM + 64GB RAM storage and 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variants priced at Rs 7,999 and Rs 8,999 respectively.
Both the variants have now received a Rs 500 price hike in India. It means that the base variant (4GB + 64GB) of Micromax In 2B now comes with Rs 8,499 price tag in India, while the 6GB + 64GB variant now cost Rs 9,499. The revised pricing is also now reflected on Flipkart.
Micromax In 2B specifications
The budget-friendly Micromax In 2B offers a 6.52-inch HD+ Mini drop display with 269PPI pixel density, a 20:9 aspect ratio, 89% screen-to-body ratio, and a peak brightness of 400nits. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T610 SoC paired with up to 6GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage. A MicroSD card slot is there to allow storage expansion by up to 512GB.
Micromax In 2B boasts a dual-camera setup on the back which consists of a 13MP primary shooter, a 2MP depth sensor, and an LED flash. Camera features include – Night mode, Slow motion, Burst Mode, Time Lapse, Pro mode, and more. The phone has a 5MP sensor for handling front photography.
The device houses a 5,000mAh battery and supports a 10W normal charging speed. Connectivity features include – 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 2.4GHz+5GHz, GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Micromax In 2B has a traditional rear-side fingerprint scanner. On the software front, it boots Android 11 out of the box and gives a near-stock Android experience as the phone does not ship with bloatware or ads.
Micromax seems to be gearing up to launch another In-series phone dubbed Micromax In Note 1 Pro. It was recently spotted on Geekbench running Helio G90 SoC. The phone is likely to come as a successor to the last year’s Micromax In Note 1.
