Mi TV 5X has launched alongside the Mi Smart Band 6, Mi Notebook Pro, etc. This is the successor to the Mi TV 4X that was launched last year. The build of the device has a metallic finish with a carbon fiber back with a metallic stand and a screen-to-body ratio of 96.6%. Let’s dive deeper into the features the Mi TV 5X has to offer.

The display of the Mi TV 5X comes with the next generation of Xiaomi’s proprietary display technology called “Vivid Picture Engine 2”. The four key aspects of VPE were Brightness, Colour, Contrast, and Saturation. The VPE2 adds another aspect called the “Home”. This basically is the addition of a Photoelectric sensor that brings adaptive brightness to the feature set of the TV.

It detects the level of light in the environment and adjusts the brightness accordingly. The TV also supports 1 billion colours, ensuring that you watch content as it was intended to. It covers 94% of the DCI-P3 wide colour gamut standard. The TV is powered by the 64-bit quad-core A55 CPU and Mali G52 MP2 GPU with 2GB RAM and 16GB of Storage.
