Xiaomi India has finally launched the much-awaited Mi Smart Band 6. The Mi Smart Band was the first one to usher the trend of fitness trackers in the Indian market. Unsurprisingly, Xiaomi has been the No. 1 fitness band brand in India for the past 15 quarters.
Specifications
The Mi Smart Band 6 has a 3.9cm fullscreen display. It offers a 50% larger display than its predecessor. It has an AMOLED display with a pixel density of 326ppi (pixels per inch). You can choose the Mi Smart Band 6 in four new colours: Blue, Light Green, Orange, and Maroon. The Mi Band 6 comes in 80 new watch faces but you can only store 6 on the device.

The Mi Smart Band 6 comes in with a SpO2 tracker, which helps you track blood oxygen levels. It also has a stress monitoring feature that can quickly calculate and give you stress recovery suggestions to bring your stress levels down. The fitness band will also give you a breathing score based on a guided breathing exercise of 1-5 mins. It comes with a built-in PPG sensor and a heart rate monitor that keeps tracking your heart rate throughout the day. Sleep tracking is another added feature.
A Dedicated Women’s Health Tracking system has been implemented in the Mi Smart Band6 and this comes with a lot of features for women to track the pattern of their cycle, log periods, and track ovulation. This is one great addition to the Mi Smart Band 6.

It will now come with 30 fitness modes, that will help you track not only your various exercises but also a lot of sports. This is possible due to their new 6-Axis precision sensor. It also has 6 auto-detection modes, which will track activities like, walking, running, cycling, rowing machine, treadmill, and elliptical. It also has 5 ATM water resistance, so you can easily take it for a swim or bathe without removing it from your wrist.
It also comes with magnetic charging and you can charge it without removing it from the band. It is compatible with Google Fit, Apple Health, and Strava and this makes using the Mi Smart Band 6 across platforms very user-friendly.
Price and special discount
Now, the Mi Smart Band 6 is priced at Rs 3,499 which seems fair for the feature set it offers. There is also a special discount of Rs 500 for already existing Mi Band users. So, if you are one of them you can upgrade to the Mi Smart Band 6 for Rs 2,999.
Mi Smart Band 6 is loaded with a lot of features and surely screams value. But today under the Rs 5,000 category of fitness trackers Xiaomi have quite the competition from Honor, Realme, etc.
