Xiaomi is all set to launch a top-end premium tablet entitled Mi Pad 5 which will probably launch in china first and after some time in other markets. As the reports about the tablet’s design, battery capacity, and launch date have surfaced on the internet we have some light on the specifications of Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 which is said to feature a 2K LCD with 2560×1600 pixels resolution and, 120Hz refresh rate. It is claimed to have a 4,260mAh battery, which could be a dual-cell battery and, the Mi Pad 5 can be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity SoC whereas the Mi Pad 5 Pro is claimed to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity SoC.

As for the software it will have Android 11 with MIUI for Pad skin on top that is specifically designed for Xiaomi tablets. It is also said to feature a PC mode which will have a classic start menu, control center, multiwindow, and many other PC-like features. The Tab is said to weigh 519 grams with a thickness of 8.13mm. The Tab will be made with aluminum alloy material much like the iPad and it will have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. As for the cameras, the Mi Pad 5 is said to feature a very capable dual-camera setup, with a 20-megapixel primary sensor paired with a 13-megapixel secondary lens.
